Real Madrid has received a significant boost for the upcoming Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia.

According to Deportes Cope, midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is fully fit to start against city rivals Atletico Madrid in the first semi-final of the competition on January 11.

Camavinga missed eight games for Los Blancos before returning as a starter against Arandina in the Copa del Rey.

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has also downplayed concerns about the French midfielder facing another spell on the sidelines after being forced off the field upon his return to action.

Real Madrid secured their place in the last-16 stage of the competition with a 3-1 victory over the fourth-tier outfit, with goals from Joselu, Brahim Diaz, and Rodrygo.

Camavinga was substituted in the 59th minute of the match, and his manner of leaving the field sparked suggestions that he might face another period out of play.

However, Ancelotti stated that the 21-year-old had suffered a blow to his back that bothered him a little, easing concerns that the issue was related to his knee.

"He had a blow to the back in the first part. It bothered him a little, but the knee is very good. He's back, he's fine and he'll be available for the next games," Ancelotti told reporters after the match.

Arda Guler also made his long-awaited debut in the match, with the Turkey international playing 59 minutes of the Copa del Rey fixture.

"Arda Guler has made a good time. The important thing was to get used to playing with the team. Little by little, your physical level and intensity will improve. We must be patient with him, but he has demonstrated his quality in the first part," Ancelotti added.

"It is important that he has returned. He has personality and character, and that's good. He has quality with his left leg, but character is an important aspect to do well at Real Madrid."

The Italian also provided an update on the recoveries of Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao, who have both been out of action with ACL injuries since August.

"Courtois trained this morning in the field in a soft way. The recovery is going well, like that of Militao. We don't have to be in a hurry with him," he said.

Vinicius Junior and Aurelien Tchouameni were given a rest for the Copa del Rey match against Arandina, but they'll rejoin the squad for the Spanish Super Cup.

Toni Kroos is also aiming to recover from a slight ankle problem so he can take part in the tournament.
